
“Image Script” is a visual project based on the viral “fake socialite” case in Shanghai. I didn’t analyze a real image — instead, I imagined a perfect-looking social media photo, and wrote a full behavioral script behind it.

The Character—MOMO
Momo is a 25-year-old woman from Shanghai with a modest background. By joining group buys and mimicking influencer poses, she tries to construct a glamorous socialite identity that isn’t truly hers.





How do images, through visual templates, compress and regulate social behavior and identity?
Can misplaced imitation or exposing backstage mechanisms become forms of resistance to image-based control?
Can we reconstruct the decision-making process behind staged images through interfaces, narrative structures, or behavioral systems?
